Take Care Mama Massage is an award-winning boutique massage practice specializing exclusively in pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and women's wellness. We believe massage therapy is healthcare, not a luxury, and every treatment is an opportunity to support a mom physically, emotionally, and mentally through one of the most transformative seasons of her life. We believe moms, especially expecting moms, are warriors, not porcelain dolls.

We're looking for an experienced, compassionate massage therapist who shares that philosophy and is excited to build a long-term career in specialized perinatal care.

This is not a spa position.

Our clients seek us out because they want an expert. We work alongside pelvic floor physical therapists, chiropractors, doulas, lactation consultants, and other perinatal providers to provide evidence-informed, specialized care throughout pregnancy and postpartum. And beyond.

Position Details

Position: Part-Time W-2 Employee

Compensation: $45–$55 per hour, depending on experience and advanced training

Schedule:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Weekend availability is required

  • Additional hours may become available as the practice continues to grow

Our Compensation Philosophy

Take Care Mama Massage is proudly a non-tipping practice.
We believe massage therapists deserve predictable, professional compensation—not income that depends on gratuity. Our pricing reflects the value of our specialized care, allowing our therapists to focus entirely on delivering exceptional treatment without wondering whether they'll receive a tip at the end of the session.

Required Qualifications
 

  • Current Colorado Massage Therapy License

  • Professional liability insurance

  • Certification in Prenatal Massage

  • Certification in Postpartum Massage

  • Advanced training in Abdominal Therapy Levels 1 & 2, or (equivalent education such as Mayan Abdominal Therapy) and experience providing pregnancy-safe abdominal therapy and therapeutic belly work

  • Minimum of three years of professional massage therapy experience

  • Strong understanding of pregnancy and postpartum physiology

  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism

  • A genuine passion for supporting mothers through pregnancy and postpartum
     

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or advanced training in any of the following is highly valued:

  • Craniosacral Therapy

  • Lymphatic Drainage

  • Myofascial Release

  • Scar Therapy (C-Section Recovery)

  • Infant Bodywork

  • Childbirth Education 

  • Trauma-Informed Care

  • Collaborative work within a perinatal healthcare team

  • You are a mom and have walked the path of our clients

  • Two professional references who can speak to your clinical skills, professionalism, reliability, client interactions, communication, and previous work experience.
     

Qualified candidates will participate in a multi-step interview process, which may include:
 

  • Initial video interview

  • Paid hands-on practical massage assessment 

  • Review of SOAP note documentation

  • Reference checks

  • Once hired, a paid onboarding and mentorship period will take place to learn the Take Care Mama Massage treatment philosophy, clinical protocols, and client experience standards.

Our treatments integrate therapeutic massage with specialized modalities including prenatal massage, postpartum recovery, abdominal therapy, craniosacral therapy, nervous system regulation, and women's health-focused bodywork.

Our sessions are more than bodywork - we educate moms on their changing bodies, we teach them how to advocate for themselves and most importantly we hold space for them.

We are extremely niche, and expecting moms search high and low for us - we are the unicorn they have been searching for. 80% of our clients remain life long regulars long after the perinatal period and some even become friends.
